Spring Flurries - Chapter 5
Such a quiet night. Not even the faintest hush of a cloud being pushed across the horizon. The moon hovered in the center of the sky, watching the scurrying creatures of the night, unblinking.
The silence wasn't even perturbed by the usual drone of Fionna's snoring, completely absent tonight. The girl was sleeping one of the soundest sleeps she'd had in weeks, truth be told. She was curled up like a baby within her sleeping bag, a puddle of saliva building up beside her slack lips.
The setting couldn't have been more still. Time didn't even seem to flow. Without any noticeable occurrences to measure it by, time may as well not have even existed at all. Nothing but soundless stillness, the lack of anything to disturb a picture perfect moment.
CRACK! SNAP! CRASH!
The air was full of splinters and a chilling burst of nighttime air flooded the bedroom. Fionna and Cake both bolted upright with a shout to see that familiar frosting-on-a-cupcake silhouette of the Ice Queen s
The Cascading Princess Chapter Three
The Cascading Princess
"Princess! Marceline! We're back!" Finn yelled out happily as he and Jake walked through their front door and escorted the Water Nymph Princess up to their living room.
"And we saved the Water Nymph Princess too!" Jake exclaimed happily, walking up the ladder after the Water Nymph Princess.
"Great job you guys! Thank you for saving the princess from the Ice King's creepy clutches," said Princess Bubblegum happily.
"He's not creepy Bonni. He's sweet, and handsome," the Water Nymph Princess said sadly, keeping her head bowed low.
"Yeah right, you're so half-baked!" Marceline said, crossing her arms across her chest with an annoyed look on her face.
"No, I'm not Marcy. I've finally found someone to love, why can't you see that sis?" asked the Water Nymph Princess, still refusing to raise her head up to look at anyone.
Marceline quickly launched herself at the Water Nymph Princess angrily, grabbing her by her neck and forcing her against a wall. "HOW DO

The Cascading Princess
The next morning, just a land mass away from the Ice Kingdom, nestled in the grassy plains of Ooo, Finn the Human and his brother Jake the Dog woke up from a perfect night's sleep.
"Morning Jake! Are you ready to fight some ogres and save villagers today?!" Finn asked excitedly.
"Yeah that sounds like a plan brother! Lets go on an ADVENTURE!" Jake exclaimed as he and Finn performed their trademark knuckle bump.
Just as they were on their way out the door, Finn came face to face with an extremely annoyed Princess Bubblegum. "Oww! Darn it!" Finn exclaimed angrily. The anger drained away immediately after he saw who he had bumped into. "Oh I'm sorry PB! I was just so pumped up to go on a new day's worth of adventures that I wasn't watching where I was going! Please forgive me princess!" he pleaded, helping her up onto her feet and brushing her skirt clean.
"Oh no its ok Finn. I should have been watching where I was going and not be annoyed at someone who

It's night time in the land of Ooo, and the Ice King has just returned back to his castle, sans princess, again.
"Quack, quack!" quacked Gunter as the Ice King walked through the main chamber sadly. "Quack? Quack quack quack?"
"Oh, hello Gunter. Yes, Finn and Jake stopped my exploits to capture Princess Bubblegum...as usual," the Ice King replied to Gunter sadly. He continued his sad walk into his bedroom and began to ready himself for bed.
"Quack?" Gunter asked worriedly, walking into the Ice King's room; luckily after the Ice King put on his favourite penguin printed pyjamas and matching night cap.
"No, we're still going to be alone forever. Especially if Finn and Jake keep on stopping me at every turn," the Ice King replied, crawling into his bed, pulling on his blanket. "Oh well, I guess I'll just have to try again tomorrow. Well, unless a princess just happens to fall out of the sky and land inside my ice prison. Th
I stared into my cereal with a considerable lack of interrest.
"Fi, what do you wanna do today?" Cake stretched across the table. "It's a big day, you know."
"What's today?" I groaned, still tired.
"You're sixteenth birthday, girl." I shook my head and pulled off my hat, long curls grazing the floor.
"Sixteen?" I laughed. "Well, Gumball probably has something planned, don't ya think?"
Something hissed across the room and I flew out of my chair, pulling my sword free from my skirt's belt loop. "Who's there?" I asked, exasperated.
"No one." I relaxed against the chair and sighed as a smirking Marshal pulled himself out from under the couch. He floated over to the table. "I suppose I'm not invited to Gummy's little party for you?" He ruffled my hair. I glared at him and pushed my hat on, most of my hair still showing.
Cake hissed. After all this time, she'd never been fond of Marshal Lee. Oh, well. Vampires. I shook my head and shrugged at him. "Not my party to invite people to."
Fireplace- Chapter 4
Chapter 4- Warming
Flame Prince felt his face warm as a red blush crept onto his face. He felt Fionna's hot breath on his cold face. He glanced at her pink, smooth lips which were only centimeters from his. Fionna felt her own face warm up as she stared into Flame Prince's intense eyes. His cold breath hit her warm cheek and she gingerly lifted her arm placing her palm on his icy cheek.
"Wow you are cold." Fionna gasped felling the Prince's chilly cheek. Flame Prince's blush deepened as he searched for something clever to say. Luckily, Fionna spoke before he could. "Maybe I should get some blankets." she asked sitting up.
"Y-yeah. Maybe you should!" Flame Prince snapped. Fionna jumped at the sudden exclamation and tripped on her feet letting out a surprised yelp. "Look out!" Flame Prince grabbed Fionna's arm, but instead of keeping her from falling back, he pulled her light body down and she fell on top of the prince. They didn't even have time to react when their faces crashed
